Disposal of Unwanted Medicines
Bring any unused or out-of-date medicines to the pharmacy and we will dispose of them safely.
Out-of-date or unwanted medicines should never go in the bin or down the sink. Pharmacies collect them for safe disposal under a scheme regulated by the Environment Agency, and there is no charge.
How to return medicines to us
We are a distance selling pharmacy, so rather than bringing medicines to a counter, we collect them from you. Contact us and we will arrange a collection — usually alongside your next delivery. There is no charge.
Please keep medicines in their original packaging where you can, so they can be identified.
What we cannot take
- Needles, syringes and sharps — your local council or GP surgery can advise on sharps bins.
- Chemicals and household products.
