Private prescriptions

Send us the details and a pharmacist will price it for you before you commit. No obligation.

A private prescription is one you pay for in full — there is no NHS charge, because the NHS is not funding it. They are usually written by a private GP, a travel clinic, a specialist, or one of our own pharmacists.

Get a price first

Private prices vary a great deal between medicines, and we would rather tell you the cost before you commit than surprise you afterwards. Send us the details and a pharmacist will come back with a price, normally within one working day.

You do not need to have the prescription in your hand yet. If you are about to see a prescriber and want to know what something will cost, ask us now.

What happens next

  1. A pharmacist reviews your enquiry and confirms the price and availability.
  2. If you are happy to go ahead, we arrange payment and you send us the prescription.
  3. We dispense and deliver to your door, free of charge.

Nothing is dispensed and nothing is charged until you have confirmed you want to proceed.
